The British Geomorphological Research Group, in conjunction with the International Association of Geomorphologists (IAG) and the IGU Commission on Geomorphologic Challenges of the 21st Century, invites you to the Joint International Geomorphology Conference to be held in Glasgow, 17-20th August, 2004 in association with the International Geographical Congress.

The theme of the Conference is
"Geomorphology and Sustainability: Towards a Sustainable Future It comprises whole-day sessions on:

The Managed Landscape and Restoring Nature
Geomorphology in a New Century/ Submitted  (unthemed) papers
Past Hydrological Events Related to Global Change

Accommodation
A wide range of accommodation will be available for delegates, ranging from University accommodation and budget hotels to 4 and 5 star hotels.  Glasgow also has a large number of low cost Bed and Breakfast establishments and hostel accommodation.  For details see the BGRG web site or:

Field Trips
